For the first time in the game's history, a Shadowverse international offline tournament is being held in Singapore. The Shadowverse International Championship 2026 Singapore runs Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 September 2026 in Hall 405 at Suntec Singapore, organised by developer Cygames. Entry to compite is free, and the winner walks away with US$30,000.
What this event is
This is a competitive card-game tournament for Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond, the newest entry in Cygames' Shadowverse franchise. Official name: Shadowverse International Championship 2026 Singapore. It is the first international offline tournament the series has run in Singapore, and it pulls in top players from Japan and every supported region worldwide.
The card battle itself uses the Rotation format in best-of-three (BO3) matches. Day 1 (Saturday) is a Swiss triple-elimination stage that runs from 9am to 9pm. Day 2 (Sunday) is a single-elimination bracket, also 9am to 9pm. Check-in on Day 1 is 9am–10am.
Prize and what winners get
The champion takes home US$30,000, along with exclusive in-game flairs and a spot in the Shadowverse World Grand Prix 2026 and the Shadowverse Online Championship 2026 in November. Registration to compete is free, but you must be 18 or older on the day of the event and bring your own device (plus the SVWB Tournament Navigator app for check-in). Wi-Fi is not provided at the venue, so competitors should arrange their own connection.
Every participant gets a tournament-exclusive playmat and emblem — the Singapore edition artwork features Lilanthim and the Merlion. Registration has been open since 21 August 2026; the last window closed 27 August (UTC).
Can you just go watch?
Yes. Cygames' own FAQ is explicit: "Anyone is welcome to attend to spectate or take part in the side activities, even without entering the main tournament." Entry and registration are free, and there are sub-events running across both days.
That said, note the contrast with the Suntec visit-events listing, which this week describes the event as "competitor registration only (no public spectator information available)." Cygames' site is the more permissive and more current source. If your only goal is to spectate a high-level card game, expect to be welcome, but arrive early and confirm on the day.
Same weekend at Suntec
Across the building that same Saturday, Backstage Siblings bring a Bhajan Jamming concert to Engage Theatre II on 26 September at 7.30pm ($79–$200 via SISTIC). Hall 405 is the cards floor; the Engage Theatre is Level 3. The scientific HUPO World Congress also opens at Suntec on 27 September, so expect a busy building and heavier traffic around lunch.
The September IT flagship COMEX 2026 (3–6 September) has already wrapped by then.
