Suntec Singapore opens its doors this weekend to the Asia Art & Craft Fair (AACF) 2026, a free-entry regional festival running across Halls 401 and 402 on 11 and 12 July 2026. The fair brings together over 500 independent artists, designers, traditional master craftsmen and contemporary brands from across Southeast Asia for two days of buying, watching and making.
What The Fair Is About
AACF describes itself as a regional festival that celebrates Asia''s craft heritage and the people shaping its creative future. The emphasis is on makers rather than mass-market retailers, so the floor leans heavily on indie studios, multi-generational family craft houses and first-time exhibitors. If you have been to a Suntec trade show stacked with imported lifestyle brands, this is the opposite: the stalls are run by the people who actually made the work on the table.
Admission is free, and a single ticket also gives you access to the concurrent Hobbies Fair and Asia Cat Expo on the same level, so a casual walk-through can easily fill a half day.
The Makers On The Floor
The 500-plus exhibitor list spans ceramics, woodworking, metalwork, glass, textiles, paper craft, painting, illustration, 3D printing, jewellery, calligraphy, printmaking, leather craft, Jesmonite and upcycled art. A few names worth looking out for:
- Naru Ceramic from Thailand, whose pieces blend modern design with traditional Thai firing techniques.
- Hunarmand Association from Uzbekistan, bringing master artisans with handwoven fabrics and intricate jewellery that reflects Uzbekistan''s textile tradition.
- Birkbushka from Singapore, showing illustrative works in a dreamy, distinctive style.
Beyond the booths, Artzillions partners with the Shaping Hearts Art Exhibition and i''mable Collective by SG Enable, spotlighting artists with disabilities and the social-impact side of accessible art. It is one of the more thoughtful inclusions you will find at a Suntec consumer fair.
Workshops And Masterclasses
Three-hour masterclasses run across both days and require advance registration. The standout sessions include BlueBeeTieDye''s Indigo Tie Dye workshop, where you learn traditional resist-dye techniques and leave with a custom textile, and a rare chance to build a usable cup from authentic Yixing Zisha clay sourced from the historical Huanglongshan area in China. Other workshops cover decoupage, kokedama and a kintsugi masterclass teaching the Japanese art of repairing broken ceramics with gold.
For visitors who would rather dabble than commit, the interactive discovery zone lets you play with different media without booking anything. You can customise ceramics, decorate tote bags with patches and try short-form craft activities between browsing the aisles.
